The first single from her upcoming album, Talk that Talk, I couldn't get into this song the first few times I heard it and I'm a die haird for anything RiRi.  But hearing it in a bar a while back helped me sorta, kinda tolerate it.  But this video... made me a believer.

It's intense.  While I'm sure everyone is gonna be talking bout the obvious CB lookalike. The message of addiction and abuse is what grabbed me.  Sometimes it's too easy to become dependent knowing that he/she/it doesn't contribute to anything positive in your life.  I didn't see this video coming to be honest but I couldn't be happier that it wasn't the typical dancing in the club, strobe lights pulsing to the beat.

Go ahead Rihanna, #talkthattalk

Rihanna for Interview magazine

I dunno if it's the photography or the styling and everything that goes along with it but I'm starting to forgive Rihanna for this red hair.

She looks f*cking gorgeous in this Interview magazine spread.  I wanna get my hand on this magazine because she was interviewed by Kanye West, so when I have a little time I'm gonna head to Barnes & Noble to read it there.  You can read some of it here.  Let's be real... You know you read books and mags there too so you don't have to buy them.

It's Almost Here

Just pre-ordered Lauren Conrad's Style which comes out October 5th.  As you know I'm crazy for LC (in a non-stalker, no need to get a restraining order way.)  and decided to share a look inside with you guys.  Excuse me for being such a teen well beyond her teen years, lol.  I like to call it "young at heart."

Really RiRi?

Now just about anything my girl Rihanna does, I usually love.  And from the front I'm not entirely hating this Cherry Kool-Aid red hair but this side view has me thinking, "Absolutely not, what were you thinking," "How long does it take for hair to grow back," and "We need some extensions ASAP"  Don't even get me started on the outfit.  I know it's for a concert and all but she's looking a little wannabe Gaga to me.

Am I wrong?

Cover Look: Lauren Conrad Style

Ahhh my style idol, Lauren Conrad is releasing a book aptly called Lauren Conrad Style.  Best news I've heard all day. I would have preferred it as a summer read but it doesn't come out until October 2010.  However, I do have a preview of the cover courtesy of people.com.  As always she looks amazing, classic and timeless.

LC Lauren Conrad for Kohl's

One of my style idols is Lauren Conrad. I was obsessed with her on "The Hills" and super excited when she got her own clothing line but bummed when I found out it was WAY out of my price range ($150 and up for jersey knit, I think not). Her fan base is primarily teens to early/late 20s and I doubt they were buying anything. Hey, maybe they had the money to blow, I know I sure didn't. In April 2009, it was announced that she was working on a more affordable line with Kohl's. I'm not really a fan of Kohl's but my mom seems to love it. Initially I could only find her apparel online but the other day I paid Kohl's a visit. (I know, I said I don't like it but I found a pair of the oxfords I've been searching for there thanks to ShopStyle) There it was- a section devoted to LC Lauren Conrad. It's almost like I'm in her closet. It's California, it's happy, fun, basic but beautiful.

Especially this blue ruffled dress... I can't help but wonder where she got the inspiration for it??

This 3.1 Phillip Lim dress perhaps? Now I'm on shopping time-out but I really want this dress. Hopefully it'll still be in stock in May when I'm allowed to shop again.
