On the Hunt

If you follow me on Twitter, you'll know that I've been searching for the perfect leopard print scarf.  And I've had no luck.  Well I found it, the perfect scarf...

Courtesy of the late great Alexander McQueen, all for the reasonable price of $475!!! Umm... not gonna happen. Now I know it's a classic and I'll wear it forever but I can only throw that much money out for bags, maybe shoes. If anyone has a suggestion for where can I find a budget friendly silk or wool leopard print scarf for $30 and under PLEASE leave me a comment or tweet me @marcysuburbs.

I need one in my life!

P.S. Peep the leopard "spots" some of them are skulls, so damn cute

UPDATE: I think a found a scarf that really grabbed my attention... and it's GREEN and $16

(via ShockBoutique)

What do you think? Go after it or hold out til I find classic leopard

Natural Hair's Expensive...

... Or am I the one that's making it expensive? As I get closer and closer to my BC, I've been thinking that I'm not prepared.  While I was relaxed I used to throw an elastic in and go or leave my hair out.  But I see all these girls with gorgeous accessories in their hair and I WANT!!!  My shopping time-out is over in a couple of weeks so I'm probably gonna have a spending spree at Forever21.com.  All their hair accessories and jewelry is adorable, amazing and cheap.  I know a lot of naturalistas start making their own but for now, I'll just buy.  I'm real good at buying!

Here's a few that I have my eye on:

Random Sidenote: I'm not a big YouTuber (I watch religiously but I can't get into the recording aspect just yet, maybe one day)  but I do want to do a haul when I can start shopping again.  So hopefully I'll get to do one here with pics.

Spring Accessory: Scarves

Even though New York had a brief encounter with winter again this past weekend, I think it's safe to say goodbye to winter & the cold. That means packing my gloves and scarves away. EXCEPT I don't wanna give my scarves up. Anyone that knows me knows more often than not, there will be one around my neck, I dunno what it is about them. Lucky for me I get to trade my winter ones for lightweight spring scarves. I want each of these but since I can't have them, I'll share.
